Apple Pizza
A tasty dessert that comes in slices!
Servings: 4 servings
Ingredients
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup canola oil
- 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ cup milk
TOPPING
- ¾ cup softened butter / margarine
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup sifted flour
Instructions
- Mix primary ingredients together until of streusel consistency. Spread over apple butter. Bake at 350 degress 45 minutes.
Apple Sour Cream Ring
A yummy treat made from our apples!
Servings: 8 Servings
Equipment
- Electric Mixer
- Greased Tube Pan
Ingredients
- ½ cup shortening
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 oz sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla flavor topping
- ½ cup chopped nuts
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 peeled, cored, thinly sliced apple
Instructions
- Blend first 8 ingredients, then beat 2 minutes with electric mixer. Mix topping ingredients well. Spread half of batter in greased tube pan. Sprinkle half of topping mix over batter, layer apple slices, rest of batter, and top with rest of nut mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 65-70 minutes. Makes 8-10 servings.
Apple Crisp
A sweet and crispy treat!
Servings: 6 sservings
Equipment
- 9x13 pan
Ingredients
- Topping
- 1 cup quick oatmeal
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup flour
- ½ cup canola oil
- 6 Peeled, cored and sliced apples
Instructions
- Grease 9x13 pan, fill with apple slices, cover with topping. Adjust apple to fill pan to your liking, increase amount of topping to your liking. Press down gently on the topping. Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes. Adjust baking time according to firmness of apples and doneness of topping. A McIntosh apple will mush up nicely, a Fuji will hold its shape. But if the top looks done, and the Fuji appears dry, take a fork and gently press down all over the top. The juice will flow. Pour a little apple syrup over the pan if the apples are too dry.
Fruit Cake
Our take of a classic cake!
Servings: 6 servings
Equipment
- 9x13 pan or 2 round cake pans
Ingredients
- 1 white or yellow cake mix
- 2 tbsp flour
- 4 eggs
- 4 oz packaged fruit punch Jello
- 1 ½ cup chopped apple
- 1 cup canola oil
- ½ cup water
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together. Bake at 350 degrees in greased 9x13 pan or 2 round cake pans until done. Cool and frost.
Apple Butter Streusel Cake
Apple Butter... Great or the whole family!
Servings: 6 servings
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ½ cup canola oil
- 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ cups milk
Topping
- ¾ cup soft butter or margarine
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup flour
Instructions
- Mix together until of streusel consistency. Spread over apple butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup canola oil
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 ¾ cups sugar
- 6 peeled, cored, chopped apples
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix all together. Bake in greased 9x13 pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool. Can frost or sprinkle with powdered sugar. We like it plain!
